OCS is a full service manufacturer's representation firm specializing in specification sales of lighting equipment for the commercial, industrial and construction markets of San Diego and Imperial Counties and is San Diego's longest established, full-line rep agency representing many of the world's premier lighting, dimming and lighting / daylighting control manufacturers.

History

OCS was founded in 1979 by Bill O'Connor with only a couple of lines represented. Two years later, Bill was joined by Marty Herlihy and with sweat and perserverience grew the agency. In 2002 Marty sold his ownership of the company to the current owners. Bill then continued to nurture the agency, and his new transition team and in 2006 he retired from the business. Over the years, the agency has grown into the #1 and most respected agency in San Diego earning the reputation as the "go to" lighting agency for specifiers, contractors, distributors and the theatrical market.
